Go on, glow…

Last night I trialled a new concoction that I read about in some magazine. It was so simple that I did it during a commercial break while watching Bethenny Frankel. And because I’m all for caring and sharing beauty secrets here it is…

You will need- Baking soda and water. Yes, thats it!!

Then just mix 1 part baking soda to 3 parts water. I used 1 tablespoon baking soda to 3 tablespoons luke warm water. Then mix it well. It should look like runny toothpaste.

Once you’ve washed your face with your usual cleanser to remove all traces of make up then you can apply the paste. I rubbed it all over my face concentrating on my trouble areas, mainly pigmentation on my cheeks (thanks pregnancy!). You may feel a slight tingling, but keep going. Massage it in for about a minute and a half. Then rinse it off with warm water and pat your face dry. You should notice an instant smoothness to your skin. Mine was a bit pink for an hour or so so you may want to do this at night. You can then apply your moisturiser/serum. Baking soda is also great mixed in with your usual face cleanser. Go on try it. You know you want to.

My skin felt like this…

I said felt…x
