From the first moment I walked into the Dansk store on Chapel street in Windsor, I knew I had stumbled upon something special. It was a place that truly appealed to my Danish aesthetic. I gravitate towards the design element of anything Nordic- all those clean lines, functional wooden furniture and deer antlers. I’m sure it has something to do with my love of Wham’s Last Christmas video and all those Norsca ads I watched growing up. Whatever it is, my house is filled with Danish furniture and now my wardrobe is following suit.
The gorgeous people of Dansk (Sabina, Cecile and Jannick) opened their doors to us bloggers a few nights ago where we were treated to lots of champagne, cool tracks and a chance to check out their new stock from labels such as D.Co, No Nationality, Samsoe&Samsoe, Ilse Jacobsen and Minimum. All labels that capture that minimalist no fuss fashion that is synonymous with Danish design. Whether you’re male or female you’re sure to find the perfect pair of boots, jeans or that special occasion outfit.

We were then treated to more champagne and amazing food (Swedish meatballs!) at the Wolf and I across the street. Jannick has taken what was once a run down old pub and flipped it into an uber cool bar that has fast become a favourite amongst the cool set in Windsor.
Not only did we have a great night basking in the Danish coolness of Dansk but we also got to take home these chic sunglasses from their instore label. Love them! So if you’re not already familiar with Dansk do yourself a favour and check them out either at their Windsor or Middle Park stores. X
PS – This pink bag from Dansk is at the top of my Christmas wishlist along with WHAM’s greatest hits album…
Great post, Chrystal! The bag look’s good on you!
Thanks Simon π
