Last week Minette’s Vintage in Richmond opened it’s doors for some late night vintage shopping and champagne sipping. It was a weirdly warm Autumn evening so the walk down the street was very enjoyable.
Upon arrival we were treated to champagne in vintage glasses of course and delicious maple roasted almonds from Three Ducks Gluten Free Gourmet Food.
Owner Amy Truslove was there to show us all the latest vintage treasures. So many gorgeous things to look at- clothes, shoes, gifts and even hand sewn cushions made from vintage tea towels by the talented Lysette Ashford of Search and Rescue.
I even tried on a vintage fur jacket…so soft and warm. Tempting, but no I’ll stick to my faux furs for now.
I did settle on these beautiful Spanish made lip balms- the tins are just divine and come in a range of flavours like violet and rose. Delish!
Such a fun night! Big thank you to Amy for opening her doors to us. I’m so looking forward to the next one. Hooray for Vintage! X
I love vintage things…looks like a great store, I might check it out next time I’m in melb
Thanks for the lovely write up Chrystal! x
