The sounds and sights of Christmas are well and truly popping up all around the city of Melbourne. From the Christmas trees to the store windows there’s festivity to be found at nearly every turn.
I had the pleasure of attending The Art of Christmas Instatour at Melbourne Central recently where we were shown around some of the new stores and Christmas installations scattered throughout the centre.
Our first stop was a new venture by the T2 people called T2B. They’ve opened their first Melbourne store at Melbourne Central and I can already feel it will be a hit with Melburnians. It’s best described as a tea cafe that specialises in exotic tea blends as well as a huge array of iced teas and slushies which are going to be perfect for Summer! I tried the pomegranate tea slushie which was just heaven!
We then got to check out some of the beautiful Christmas installations which all had a very non -traditional and modern twist to them. Just gorgeous.
Mirrored glasses anyone? While wearing them you can actually see what’s going on behind you. Very handy don’t you think?
We got to hear one of the in house stylists speak about Melbourne Central’s new styling service. Just book an appointment for a one on one consultation that will take you through everything from what colours to what styles suit your body shape, style and budget. Here’s Racquel from Style Space sharing some fashion do’s and don’ts with us.
And of course a visit to Melbourne Central wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Cupcake Central. I’ve only tried a handful of flavours but the red velvet cupcake still remains my all time favourite. They look amazing right? Sorry, can’t talk, busy eating…
I had such a fun morning being shown around and meeting lots of new friends- I can’t wait to take the kids back and show them all the great Christmas decorations! Apart from taking home delicious cupcakes we all got a very generous gift bag which among other things included these adorable Gorman socks. Which are just perfect for this Melbourne Summer we’re having. Perfect one day, not-so-perfect the next. Merry Melbourne Central Christmas everyone! X
