Spring into Neon

Happy Monday everyone! The sun is shining here in Melbourne today, which serves as a reminder that Spring has well and truly sprung. I love that feeling of the days slowly getting longer and the evenings milder. Where we slowly lose our layers of jumpers, jackets and scarves and put on our favourite sandals and T-shirts and sundresses. Those first few days of slipping on open toed shoes, or a skirt are always the most daunting- skin that has previously been protected and hidden beneath our winter layers is suddenly out there at the mercy of the elements. I think a spray tan is in order before I blind people with my glow-stick legs!

Nothing says Spring like bright, bold colours. And luckily for us the Neon trend is continuing right through Spring and Summer. It can be found in everything from handbags, shoes, nails and of course clothes! Last night I dared to put away my Melbourne uniform of black on black and step out in neon pink. It was a mild evening, I was going out for paella and sangria and I needed to give my new ASOS leather-look pants an outing. I teamed them with a neon pink jumper from Cotton On and my Diane Von Furstenberg boots. Voila…

Speaking of all things Neon – my absolute favourite online place to shop is ASOS. If you’re not already an addict – you need to be. It’s great fashion, current, affordable and best of all free delivery. I look forward to the arrival of that silver bag in the mail every month or so.

Here are some of my favourite Neon looks that are currently available on ASOS. Have you embraced the Neon trend yet? x
